Windows has always had a basic video editor, but now Microsoft offer ClipChamp, a web-based video editing and compression platform that allows users to edit and optimize videos for various purposes such as uploading to social media, sharing through email, or embedding on a website. 

It offers a variety of tools for editing and enhancing video, including trimming, cropping, adding music and text, and converting video formats. Clipchamp also features video compression capabilities to reduce the size of the video file while maintaining its quality.

To test it out, I took one of my releases, Mellow Out Suite from 2021, which I noticed had charted in Egypt (#42 for one week) and set it video clips.

Verdict on ClipChamp:

ClipChamp was surprisingly easy to use. As it is web based, no install, no problems. Quick to produce a video and upload to YouTube. 

However, it only has the basic features, but for quick simple video creation and publishing to YouTube it is very slick.

I am very impressed and will be using ClipChamp for all my simple video editing in the future.
